Welcome to Helicopter Concepts
 Helicopter Concepts provides interactive training systems and products for helicopter pilots in all disciplines. Most aviation learning programs available today ignore rotorcraft... we intend to change that.
Our first product is an interactive
DVD titled, "Autorotations
in the R22" (available
now). This video includes actual footage of autorotations
from both inside and outside the cockpit using special
cameras and techniques. Several aerodynamic concepts
are clearly explained using advanced computer animation.
We are please to announce that
Timothy Tucker and Michael
Zangara will guide you through
the maneuvers and aerodynamics of "Autorotations
in the R22."
Future DVD's will include video of world-wide missions
flown by pilots in ENG, EMS, SAR, Fire, Utility, Off-shore,
Law Enforcement, Military, and others. Helicopter Concepts
is currently developing training programs for long-line
instruction, HUET operations, and many other safety and
operational training products... including the very first
helicopter only ground school course for private pilots,
commercial students, and future flight instructors.
 But
we aren't stopping there. Our developers are also designing a new breed
of low-cost flight simulators. Our training programs and systems, based
on real-world scenarios, are intended to merge traditional training with
state of the art technology. These programs will give the new pilot an
effective way to develop their skills, and they will give the seasoned
professional a cost-effective way to enhance their skills.
The interactive systems developed by Helicopter Concepts
use scenarios developed by working professional helicopter
pilots. We intend to provides both students and instructors
with 21st century materials and systems to enhance
learning and to promote helicopter safety.
